Los Angeles Angels star Mike Trout requires surgery on a torn meniscus in his left knee, GM Perry Minasian announced Tuesday. The surgery is not expected to be season-ending. According to the Baseball Prospectus injury recovery database, a torn meniscus typically comes with a 2-3 month absence. That puts Trout on track to return sometime in July or August if all goes accordingly.Â
